2025 Prospective Deacon Biographies

The individuals listed below have been nominated, meet the qualifications, and are willing to serve as deacons for the upcoming three-year term, if elected. Others who were nominated have, after prayerful consideration, chosen not to serve at this time, though they may be open to serving in the future. To be elected, each candidate must receive votes on more than 50% of the ballots cast. Please take time to read each biography, get to know the candidates, and prayerfully consider your vote. The vote will take place next Sunday, the 29th, during the 10:00 am business meeting in the fellowship hall.

Brad Rogers

Brad is 45 and became a Christian at the age of 24 at Beracha Baptist Church in Middleton, Ohio. He and his wife Starlah, have been married for 23 years. Brad and Starla have been active members of Beulah for almost 2 years. They have five children: Braden, Isabel, Miley, Sarah, and Samuel. He is employed by Rockwell Automation and Starlah volunteers teaching one of our AHG girls troops.

TJ Duckett

TJ has been a member of Beulah since 2013. He has served as a deacon since 2019. TJ and Ashley are blessed to work with the youth at Beulah as youth directors. TJ currently works at All Phase in Albertville. He and Ashley are proud parents of Sam and Charlie.

Jim Merrell

Jim has been a member of Beulah since 2006. He has served as a deacon at Beulah since 2009.  He is retired from Mueller Company. He and his wife Brenda are enjoying retirement.  Jim is presently serving in security work at Alatrade.
